… an unexpected, non-forecast snowfall… in Derendingen… in November…

The one weekend I can usually expect snow is the weekend close to December 10. In the four years we have lived here, there has always been snow on the weekend near December 10. So, because we were expecting normal weather today we made plans to sleep in this morning, have Todd make breakfast burritos for brunch and then pack a little something and ride trains to somewhere, anywhere until we were ready to turn around and go home. We even toyed with riding Austria or Lichtenstein to go shopping. We may still do something like that, but for now I just want to watch it snow.

I don’t know why I get giddy and child-like when I see snow. It calms me, I smile on the inside, and I just want to look at it.

I am sure i will add more soon, but for now the breakfast burritos are ready….😁
