As promised, I visited Aarau yesterday. I spent most of the time walking around the Altstadt and sitting in a park by the river. I chatted with the birds, the wind, and a sweet young man who will turn 2 in January. It was a productive day towards lowering my blood pressure and finding some joy in my current “home.” This is not an easy task for me. I miss my children and grandchildren.

I am currently deciding if I continue with my plans to go to Bern today. Bern is awesome on a sunny day like today. From the park you can see the Bernese Alps in all their glory. You also have beautiful cathedrals, clock towers, and of course the Bears… one is name Finnegan like my grandson😁.

Bern is easy to get to with my GA and I can easily find a cafe for a coffee, tea, or wine.

So…. I will let you know soon what I decide…
